Job Description
- Manage the engineering execution of assigned power system projects.
- Partner with Project Managers to develop schedules and coordinate project resources.
- Serve as the primary technical interface for customers throughout project lifecycles.
- Review technical requirements, specifications, and vendor documentation.
- Prepare and approve technical submittals, drawings, and project documentation.
- Support the creation of customer-specific control system drawings.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
- Develop factory acceptance testing, startup, and site acceptance testing procedures.
- Support field technicians during startup, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Implement corrective actions and support successful project closeout activities.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in electrical power systems.
- Experience with UPS systems, backup power generation, or related technologies preferred.
- Understanding of controls, instrumentation, PLCs, and industrial automation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering documentation tools.
- Self-motivated professional capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
