Job Description
- Support project managers and superintendents throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale multifamily construction projects.
- Manage and track project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.
- Coordinate communication between owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Monitor project schedules and help ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Assist with procurement activities and material tracking.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate meeting documentation.
- Review construction drawings and specifications to support project execution.
- Track project progress and help identify potential schedule or budget challenges.
- Support quality control and jobsite safety initiatives.
- Assist with project closeout activities, punch list management, and final documentation.
- Maintain accurate project reports and construction records.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 1-5 years of experience in commercial construction, multifamily construction, or a related industry.
- Exposure to ground-up construction projects is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
