Job Description
- Assist in the design and development of substation projects, including physical layouts and protection & control systems.
- Perform engineering calculations and support preparation of drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to meet project scope, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Support the development of specifications, reports, and construction packages.
- Review and check design work for accuracy and compliance with standards and guidelines.
- Participate in field activities such as site visits, testing, and commissioning support.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
- Utilize engineering software and Microsoft Office tools for analysis, documentation, and reporting.
- Follow company safety policies and contribute to a strong safety culture.
- Assist with continuous improvement efforts and process enhancements.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Project Engineer II - Substation Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) or EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification required.
- 2 years of experience in substation or power systems engineering preferred.
- Basic knowledge of substation design, protection & control systems, and engineering principles.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
