Job Description
The Production Manager will report directly into the Director of Operations and be responsible for:
- Lead production teams to achieve performance goals across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.
- Develop and execute action plans to address gaps and sustain operational improvements.
- Participate in internal ISO audits and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Lead daily team meetings, communicate business priorities, and ensure clear documentation of action items.
- Identify resource requirements and implement strategic staffing and operational solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/CI methodologies; ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
- Support production planning and execution based on material availability, capacity, and demand.
- Monitor manufacturing performance using visual management tools and hold teams accountable to schedules.
- Enforce established processes and mentor emerging leaders to strengthen operational capabilities.
- Analyze production capacity versus demand to optimize throughput and efficiency.
- Collaborate across functions to improve program delivery, cost effectiveness, and process reliability.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Demonstrated supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in mixed-model or medium-volume production settings.
- Strong communication, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
- Hands‑on leadership style with a focus on teamwork and accountability.
- Strong organizational and analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Proven track record managing cross-functional projects.
- Experience in ISO-controlled environments preferred.
- Lean/CI or Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
