Job Description
- Develop and establish manufacturing processes for new and existing jobs
- Interpret engineering drawings and translate them into effective production processes
- Review and process job orders to ensure accuracy and completeness before release to the floor
- Serve as a liaison between engineering and shop floor teams to ensure proper execution
- Investigate and resolve discrepant material issues (DMRs), including root cause analysis
- Support quoting and estimating activities for incoming work
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across production workflows
- Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards in a controlled manufacturing environment
The Successful Applicant
- Hands-on Process Engineer with prior experience in gear manufacturing
- Proven ability to develop and implement manufacturing processes in a custom or job shop environment
- Strong understanding of interpreting engineering drawings and translating them into production workflows
- Experience working closely with shop floor teams to ensure execution, quality, and efficiency
- Familiar with handling job orders and resolving production issues, including discrepant materials
- Detail-oriented with a process-driven mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing manufacturing environment
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to regulatory requirements
- Background in aerospace or defense manufacturing
- Experience supporting quoting or estimating activities
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline
- Competitive salary ranging from $110000 to $140000 USD annually.
