It involves managing enrollments, partnering with vendors, ensuring accurate payroll deductions, and maintaining compliance with regulations, while also acting as a go-to resource for employees navigating their options. It's a high-touch, detail-driven function that directly shapes the overall employee experience.
Job Description
Successful candidates must have multi-state payroll and benefits experience.
- Process and manage employee payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and other perks.
- Maintain and update employee records within payroll and HR systems.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll and benefits functions.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and compliance reports.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and implement changes in federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Support the Human Resources department with additional administrative tasks as needed.
