Job Description
- Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across operations
- Identify and execute projects to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and process redesign
- Partner with operations, engineering, and quality teams
- Track and report key operational metrics and KPIs
- Train and mentor teams on Lean principles and tools
- Support leadership with strategic improvement initiatives
- Drive standardization and best practice implementation
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Operations Manager Should Have
- Bachelor's degree required (Engineering or related preferred)
- 5-10 years in Lean, CI, or operations-focused roles
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Experience leading Kaizen events and improvement projects
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Six Sigma Belt/Formal Lean Certifications
- Experience in metals, industrial, or high-volume manufacturing
- Track record of measurable operational improvements
