Job Description
- Own and manage NPI programs including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Lead projects from initial quoting through production launch and stabilization
- Develop and track project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor progress and proactively resolve delays or execution risks
- Ensure all milestones and customer deliverables are achieved on time
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams to drive successful product launches
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment and execution through regular meetings
- Support early-stage proposal development and customer discussions
- Communicate risks and project updates to leadership as needed
- Act as the primary customer point of contact throughout project execution
- Provide clear, timely updates on status, risks, and key decisions
- Ensure customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded
- Support manufacturability improvements, cost optimization, and process development initiatives
- Evaluate new processes, suppliers, and external capabilities as needed
- Contribute hands-on to engineering tasks to help keep projects on track

The Successful Applicant
A Successful NPI Project Manager Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 7 years of experience in project management within manufacturing or engineering environments
- Experience in regulated industries (medical device strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, stamping, tooling, or precision components
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of ISO standards, FDA regulations, and GD&T
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
