Job Description
- Site Supervision: Serve as on-site Superintendent for major ground-up multifamily projects (100 units) throughout the Lyndhurst and North Jersey area.
- Team Leadership: Work alongside additional Superintendents, a Project Manager, and Assistant Project Manager, dividing project scopes based on strengths while maintaining a well-rounded level of oversight.
- Schedule Management: Manage day-to-day field operations, site safety, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and progress tracking.
- Quality Control: Ensure quality control, adherence to design/specifications, and timely completion of all phases of construction.
- Safety Compliance: Communicate regularly with the project team and ownership group to report milestones, challenges, and site updates.
- Client-Facing: Maintain a professional, solutions‑oriented presence while representing the company on active job sites.
The Successful Applicant
- 10 years of experience as a Superintendent on large-scale multifamily projects (100 units).
- Strong ground-up construction experience (no wood-frame requirement).
- Well-rounded technical and leadership abilities, able to oversee multiple scopes and collaborate with other Supers on large, multi‑building projects.
- Strong communication, scheduling, and subcontractor management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high-quality standards on fast-paced luxury multifamily developments.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on problem‑solving, safety, and delivering outstanding client service.
- Competitive Base Salary: up to 155K (commensurate with experience)
