This opportunity is with a nationally established general contractor that specializes in large‑scale multifamily, affordable housing, and senior living developments. The company is expanding its footprint in the Carolinas and is known for structured project execution, strong field leadership, and long‑term stability. Teams are supported by experienced operations leadership while being trusted to run projects independently in the field.

Job Description

• Oversee all phases of multifamily construction projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Manage project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Resolve any on-site issues and proactively address potential delays or challenges.
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
• Implement quality control measures to meet the highest construction standards.
• Monitor resource allocation and ensure optimal use of materials and labor.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Multifamily Superintendent Should Have

• Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent on ground‑up multifamily projects.
• Strong preference for candidates with Charlotte‑area multifamily experience.
• Experience with wood‑frame construction is required.
• Demonstrated job tenure and stability.
• Comfortable running a full project site with limited day‑to‑day oversight.
• Strong leadership, communication, and planning skills.
• Procore proficiency required.
