Job Description
- Lead day‑to‑day field operations for mechanical and civil scopes on pump stations and treatment facilities
- Coordinate subcontractors, craft labor, and jobsite logistics to maintain safety, schedule, and quality
- Oversee installation of piping, equipment, and structural/mechanical systems
- Manage documentation, inspections, and compliance with project specifications and owner requirements
- Partner closely with PM and PX teams to ensure cost control, productivity, and issue resolution
- Support start‑up, commissioning, and turnover of mechanical systems
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, inspectors, and project stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
- 10 years of experience in mechanical or infrastructure/civil construction
- Strong background with pump stations, wastewater, treatment plants, piping, or industrial systems
- Experience in the Richmond or Southern Virginia markets preferred
- Will also consider backgrounds in transportation (WMATA, VDOT)
- Proven ability to lead field teams and manage complex mechanical scopes
