This Trust and Estates firm has been around for over 100 years and has an excellent reputation. Their West Hartford office is a group of many tenured staff members that work very collaboratively. They're in the office every day 9:00-5:00 but could be flexible for 8:30-4:30 if that works better for a candidate.
Description
- Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and legal documents for fiduciary accountants.
- Organize and maintain files, records, and other documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and fiduciary accountings.
- Handle incoming calls and communications, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to support department goals.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Provide additional administrative support as needed to ensure efficient operations.
Profile
A successful Legal Secretary to Fiduciary Accountants should have:
- 2 years in a legal administrative support role.
- Experience with TurboCourt, tax documents, or Trust, Estates or Probate exposure is strongly preferred.
- Notary certification strongly preferred (otherwise will become a notary in this role!)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting team objectives.
