General Superintendent- Healthcare Experience

The General Superintendent will serve as the senior field leader for complex healthcare construction projects across South Florida, acting as a Project Executive in the field. This role oversees multiple active healthcare projects, ensuring schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction are executed at the highest level.

They have a consistent pipeline of hospital, medical office, and specialty healthcare projects throughout Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and are known for long-term client relationships and repeat healthcare work.

Description

• Act as the senior field authority across multiple healthcare projects, partnering closely with Project Executives, Project Managers, and ownership groups

• Lead and mentor project superintendents, field engineers, and site teams

• Oversee project sequencing, logistics, and phasing in live/occupied healthcare environments

• Ensure strict compliance with healthcare regulations, ICRA, AHCA, OSHPD-equivalent standards, and infection control protocols

• Drive safety, quality control, and schedule adherence across all active sites

• Serve as the primary field liaison with owners, architects, inspectors, and healthcare facility representatives

• Proactively identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or operations

Profile

• 15 years of construction experience with deep expertise in healthcare construction

• Proven track record leading hospital, medical office, or specialty healthcare projects

• Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously in an executive-level field role

• Strong knowledge of healthcare codes, compliance requirements, and working in active facilities

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Based in, or willing to commute regularly throughout, Fort Lauderdale and Miami
