Our client is a reputable builder with 20 years in experience! They specialize in commercial interiors and renovations anywhere from $200k - $10M! They are actively in growth mode and looking for an estimator who can make an immediate impact on the business. All their work is local to NoVA and DC!

They offer a very tight and small group to manage all their work - everyone's efforts are noticed!

Job Description

The Estimator - Small Projects - NoVA will be responsible for:

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial and multi‑family construction projects
• Perform accurate quantity take‑offs from drawings, specifications and other project documentation
• Support subcontractor and supplier outreach, including bid solicitation and tracking
• Assist with bid levelling, scope reviews and pricing analysis under the guidance of senior estimators
• Maintain and update estimating databases and historical cost information
• Review plans, specifications and addenda to ensure full and accurate scope coverage
• Prepare bid proposals and supporting documentation for tender submissions

The Successful Applicant

The Estimator - Small Projects - NoVA Should Have

• 3 years of estimating experience with a general contractor
• Experience estimating projects $5M
• Proficiency in using estimating software and tools
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and project teams effectively
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities.
