• This opportunity is with a medium-sized organization in the property industry that is focused on delivering high-quality construction projects. The company is known for its commitment to excellence and has a solid reputation within the industry. They are the oldest operating General Contractor in Western, MA and they have a great pipeline of repeat clients that keep them busy year in and year out. They are looking for their next Lead Estimator to grow with the business.
• Typically managing 15 projects per year.
• Pride themselves in maintaining a manageable workload using a tight knit collaborative team effort

Job Description

• Lead and manage preconstruction efforts for various construction projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.
• Develop and oversee project budgets, estimates, and schedules during the preconstruction phase.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to preconstruction activities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to preconstruction team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to ensure project success.
