Description
Reporting directly into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Designing UL508 compliant control panels.
- Creating specifications for internal components and external instrumentation.
- Design using AutoCAD.
- Create instrument and IO lists.
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for engineering projects.
- Create and maintain detailed electrical schematics and documentation.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure functionality and compliance.
- Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and technological advancements.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Profile
A successful Electrical Design Engineer should have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience designing industrial control panels.
- UL508 MTR Certification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience using electrical design software and tools.
- Experience using AutoCAD Electrical preferred.
- Experience with PLC programming and design.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
