My client is a Connecticut based construction firm with projects across the state, specializing in commercial, academic, healthcare, retail, and multifamily work. Most projects range from five to twenty-five million dollars. They are a family-owned company known for a strong people focused culture, excellent relationships with trade partners, steady growth, and a healthy backlog.

Description

The Project Manager - Commercial Construction will:

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards at all project sites.
  • Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction phases.
  • Lead and mentor project teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Profile

A successful Project Manager - Commercial Construction should have:

  • 5-10 years of project management experience
  • Proven experience managing commercial construction projects working for a General Contractor
  • Degree in construction, engineering or related (or experience equivalent)
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client and team interactions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and industry standards.
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering quality work on time and within budget.

Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
