Job Description
- Lead the full preconstruction and estimating process for ground‑up and interior commercial projects.
- Prepare conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, and GMPs with accuracy and competitiveness.
- Oversee and mentor the estimating team while fostering collaboration across operations, design partners, and clients.
- Manage subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and cost analysis to ensure reliable pricing.
- Support project strategy with value engineering ideas, constructability insights, and market‑driven cost guidance.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 10 years of estimating or preconstruction experience within commercial construction.
- Demonstrated expertise in both ground-up construction and interior build-outs.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Sage, ProEst, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple pursuits and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
