Job Description
- Provide overall leadership and accountability for construction operations across all active projects.
- Lead, mentor, and support Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership teams.
- Establish and enforce company standards for safety, quality, scheduling, and cost control.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, staffing, and long‑term growth initiatives.
- Oversee staffing plans, manpower allocation, and leadership development across the organization.
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and key subcontractors.
- Support preconstruction efforts including constructability reviews, budgeting strategy, and logistics planning.
- Monitor project financial performance, forecasting, and risk management.
- Serve as escalation point for project challenges, contract issues, and client concerns.
- Drive operational consistency while supporting expansion into new markets and sectors.
The Successful Applicant
- 12-20 years of progressive construction experience, including senior leadership roles.
- Proven success overseeing commercial, healthcare, institutional, or mixed‑use projects.
- Strong financial and operational acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and margin management.
- Experience managing multi‑project teams across multiple locations or states.
- High emotional intelligence with a team‑first leadership style.
- Strong client‑relationship skills and executive‑level communication ability.
- Deep understanding of ground‑up construction, renovations, and fast‑paced delivery environments.
- Base Salary: $145,000 - $185,000
- Total Compensation (with bonus): $165,000 - $220,000
- Bonus Range: 15-30% (performance‑based)
- Vehicle / Allowance: $900 - $1,500 per month
