About Our Client

I am partnered with a $40M manufacturer and service provider of hydraulic products on a Controller opening in their Corporate HQ in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The team is looking for a strong, experienced Controller to join the team and own the month end close process and forecasting/budgeting process. In addition, this role will play a large hand in streamlining data between PowerBI and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

Job Description

• Review, and analyze monthly financial statements/KPI reports for the organization in accordance with company policies and GAAP.
• Lead the preparation of the organization's business planning process, incorporating productivity and cost targets for both manufacturing and sourcing.
• Prepare monthly rolling forecasts and provide leadership with insight and commentary for all major variances from both plan and prior forecast.
• Provide financial guidance for all capital investments and related business case justifications.
• Lead and drive cost reduction efforts, holding plant management team responsible for delivering annual cost reductions and productivity improvements.
• Lead the integration and streamlined process between PowerBI and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
• Ensure proper internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
• Develop necessary inventory polices and controls to ensure integrity of financial statements.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external auditors.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
• Microsoft Dynamics Business Central experience required
• 7 years of accounting & finance experience with a proven track record of success
• Ability to communicate with employees globally clearly and precisely
• Manufacturing industry experience
