Job Description
- Serve as the lead Project Manager onsite for a ground‑up municipal facility.
- Manage all core PM functions: budgeting, scheduling, buyout, cost tracking, and closeout.
- Lead RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
- Coordinate sitework, utilities, and early‑phase construction activities.
- Partner closely with the field team and off‑site Senior PM for strategic oversight.
- Conduct owner meetings and maintain strong relationships with public‑sector stakeholders.
- Support preconstruction and transition planning for future Carolinas projects.
- Ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on all assigned work.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Candidate Should Have
- 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager (or strong APM ready to step up).
- Experience with ground‑up construction and sitework required.
- Experience on projects $20M preferred.
- Exposure to light industrial or public‑sector projects is a strong plus.
- Comfortable operating as the sole onsite PM with remote executive support.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with owners and inspectors.
- Organized, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of outcomes.
- Local to Charlotte or willing to work full‑time onsite.
- Competitive salary ranging from USD 120.000 to USD 140.000 annually.
