Job Description
The Key Responsibilities:
- Approve subcontractor and vendor invoices while monitoring budgets and allocating all project costs accurately.
- Identify cost overruns, complete budget variance reports, and communicate issues promptly.
- Set up new jobs, including managing submittals, RFIs, and manpower planning.
- Review and adjust project schedules, process change orders, and manage T&M tickets and approvals.
- Attend weekly manpower meetings and coordinate material orders, equipment, and onsite resources.
- Support the Superintendent with onsite issues and conduct weekly site visits to review quality and production.
- Communicate regularly with GC superintendents and project managers to ensure quality standards and schedule goals are met.
- Complete monthly budget updates, cost projections, billings, quarterly workload reviews, and annual performance and goal evaluations.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Candidate
- 5 years of experience working on drywall or metal framing scope of multifamily or commercial TI projects
- Ability to be a true plug and play project manager
- Understanding of construction budgeting, documentations, contracts, change orders
- Ability to coordinate efficiently with the GC team
- Manage Submittals, O&M Manuals, warranites, and all other project documentation with accuracy
- Strong communicator and team player
