Job Description
Construction Project Engineer - Bristol, CT
- Support the project team on ground‑up construction projects from start to finish.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, drawing logs, and project documentation.
- Assist with schedule tracking, cost reporting, and budget updates.
- Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams.
- Participate in project meetings, site walks, and coordination reviews.
- Track material procurement, deliveries, and installation timelines.
- Maintain organized project records using construction management software.

A Successful Construction Project Engineer Should Have
- 1-4 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager with a general contractor.
- Ground‑up construction experience required (commercial, institutional, or multifamily preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction documents, sequencing, and field coordination.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn and take ownership of tasks.
- Effective communicator able to work between the jobsite and office.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
