Job Description
- Manage day‑to‑day operations for commercial projects up to $20-30M.
- Lead RFIs, submittals, change orders, drawing reviews, and all PM documentation.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, buyout, financial reporting, and closeout.
- Coordinate directly with Superintendents, APMs, and field teams on multiple active jobs.
- Conduct OAC meetings, lead subcontractor coordination, and maintain proactive communication with consultants.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Support preconstruction planning for upcoming projects as needed.
- Mentor junior staff and serve as a reliable resource for industry‑standard PM tasks.
- Represent the company professionally with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Commercial Construction Project Manager Should Have
- 5-8 years of combined APM PM experience;
- MUST have proven, hands‑on experience with:
- RFIs
- Submittals
- Change Orders
- Buyout & procurement
- Billing, reporting, document control
- Schedule review/updates
- Background in general commercial construction required.
- Relevant experience in one or more sectors:
- K‑12 education
- Healthcare / MOBs
- High‑end commercial interiors / upfits
- Light industrial
- Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability are essential.
- Local to Charlotte preferred; relocators considered.
- Competitive salary range of USD 100.000 to USD 120.000 annually.
