Job Description
The CNC Programmer will play a key role within a precision machining environment, responsible for developing, optimising, and executing CNC programs while supporting broader manufacturing operations. This position blends hands-on machining expertise with programming and process development, ensuring efficient production of complex components while driving continuous improvement initiatives across tooling, setup, and workflow processes.
- Develop and optimise CNC programs using MasterCAM, including creating efficient toolpath strategies.
- Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machinery to support both production and prototype work.
- Analyse engineering drawings to design fixtures, improve processes, and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate is a hands-on CNC Programmer with a strong machining background and the ability to bridge programming with shop floor execution. You will bring a detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset, with experience in troubleshooting, process optimisation, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings are essential to success in this role.
- 2 years' CNC programming experience using MasterCAM.
- Proven experience setting up and operating CNC machines within a machine shop environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T, with experience editing and troubleshooting NC code.
