Description
- Support Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects
- Assist with project documentation, scheduling, reporting, and subcontractor coordination
- Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project correspondence
- Help manage project costs, quantities, budgets, and production tracking
- Coordinate with field personnel to ensure project requirements and schedules are met
- Assist with estimating, takeoffs, bid preparation, and project closeout activities
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to support project execution
- Maintain accurate project records while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
Profile
A successful Civil Project Engineer should have:
- 3-4 years of experience in civil construction, heavy civil, site development, roadway, utility, or infrastructure projects
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project documentation, and field operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with Bid2Win, Agtek Earthworks, and/or AutoCAD is highly desirable
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in both office and field environments as required
- Must be able to commute to Falmouth, MA and regional project sites
