Description
As the Assistant Superintendent, you will support onsite field operations for ground‑up multifamily projects, working closely with the Lead Superintendent and Project Management team to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality project delivery.
- Assist with day‑to‑day site operations on mid‑rise multifamily developments (typically 70-80 units)
- Coordinate subcontractor activities, inspections, and trade sequencing
- Help maintain and update project schedules using Microsoft Project or comparable scheduling software
- Support enforcement of safety standards, quality control, and site compliance
- Participate in site meetings and assist with documentation and reporting
- Track punch list items and support commissioning and close‑out activities
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative jobsite culture
Profile
For the Assistant Superintendent role, we are seeking:
- Experience supporting ground‑up multifamily or comparable commercial construction projects
- Background working with reputable local or regional general contractors
- Familiarity with construction scheduling tools (Microsoft Project preferred; Primavera P6 acceptable)
- Experience using Procore or similar construction management platforms
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with subcontractors
- Construction‑related degree preferred, though not required for candidates with relevant field experience
- A proactive mindset and desire to grow into a Lead Superintendent role over time
