Job Description

• Site Supervision: Assist the Project Superintendent with daily on-site construction operations and field execution.
• Schedule Management: Monitor daily construction progress and assist with short-interval planning and look-ahead schedules.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, field photos, and progress records.
• Safety Compliance: Assist in enforcing project safety standards and participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and site inspections.
• Quality Control: Support quality control efforts, inspections, punch list management, and project closeout activities.
• Team Leadership: Communicate field conditions, potential issues, schedule impacts, and progress updates to the Project Superintendent and Project Manager.

The Successful Applicant

• 3-5 years of field experience on public-sector construction projects required.
• Experience working on ground-up public works projects strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Structural, Civil, and MEP drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and subcontractor coordination.
• Carpentry or masonry experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with New Jersey public-sector construction requirements and prevailing wage standards is a plus.
• Proficiency with construction technology platforms such as Autodesk Build, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a project team while maintaining a proactive, hands-on approach in the field.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
