Job Description
- Assist in managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Support the Project Manager with scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
- Process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Attend the project site regularly and work closely with field teams to track progress and resolve issues.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and project reporting.
- Ensure project milestones, quality standards, and contract requirements are met.
- Support safety initiatives and maintain project compliance.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Help drive projects to successful completion while maintaining client satisfaction.
The Successful Applicant
- 2 years of experience in construction as an Assistant Project Manager
- Experience on federal, healthcare, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project documentation.
- Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement activities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and build strong relationships with project teams and clients.
- A desire to develop into a Project Manager within a growing organization.
