Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager - Ground Up K-12 - DC Metro will:
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of ground-up construction projects
- Assist with managing project schedules, budgets, contracts, and documentation
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal project teams
- Track project progress, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and project milestones
- Utilize construction management software to maintain accurate project records
- Support project closeout activities and turnover documentation
The Successful Applicant
The Assistant Project Manager - Ground Up K-12 - DC Metro will have:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role
- Experience overseeing at least one ground-up building project
- Background in apartments, hospitals, libraries, schools, or university construction
- Proven experience on projects valued at $20M or more
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience with PlanGrid and Procore required
- Sage 300 Timberline experience required; Textura preferred
