Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Ground Up K-12 - DC Metro will:

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of ground-up construction projects
• Assist with managing project schedules, budgets, contracts, and documentation
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal project teams
• Track project progress, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and project milestones
• Utilize construction management software to maintain accurate project records
• Support project closeout activities and turnover documentation

The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Project Manager - Ground Up K-12 - DC Metro will have:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role
• Experience overseeing at least one ground-up building project
• Background in apartments, hospitals, libraries, schools, or university construction
• Proven experience on projects valued at $20M or more
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  
  

Software Experience

• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience with PlanGrid and Procore required
• Sage 300 Timberline experience required; Textura preferred
