Job Description
- Support and oversee daily field operations on commercial construction projects to help ensure efficient project execution.
- Partner closely with project managers, trade partners, and suppliers to maintain schedules and meet key project milestones.
- Promote and uphold site safety standards by monitoring compliance and fostering a culture of safe work practices.
- Perform ongoing quality reviews of completed work, addressing issues proactively to maintain project standards.
- Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, schedules, inspection logs, and progress updates.
- Coordinate the delivery, storage, and tracking of materials to support uninterrupted field operations.
- Assist in identifying and resolving site-related challenges to minimize delays and help keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to support collaboration and successful project outcomes.
The Successful Applicant
- 3-7 years of hands-on experience with a commercial general contractor.
- Proficiency using Procore for project management and field coordination.
- Proven ability to work effectively in active, occupied facilities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, communication, and minimizing disruptions to ongoing operations.
- Skilled in supporting daily field activities, including coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site project teams.
- Solid knowledge of construction phasing, scheduling, site logistics, and industry safety standards.
- Professional communicator who builds positive relationships with clients, tenants, and project stakeholders.
- Meticulous approach to project documentation, daily logs, quality inspections, and punch list management.
- Collaborative team player who demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a willingness to follow direction when needed.
- Highly organized and dependable, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
