Key Responsibilities:
- Community Engagement: Go door-to-door to inform residents and local businesses about ongoing or upcoming water infrastructure projects, such as pipeline installation, water treatment plants, or stormwater systems.
- Information Dissemination: Provide relevant project details including timelines, potential disruptions, and safety measures to the public.
- Collect Feedback: Gather community concerns, questions, and suggestions to relay to the project team to ensure smooth execution of the project.
- Document Interactions: Record conversations and feedback for reporting purposes, ensuring that all concerns and inquiries are addressed promptly.
- Conflict Resolution: Address community concerns, escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate project personnel, and maintain a professional, approachable demeanor.
- Support Project Management: Assist the project team in identifying and managing risks related to community impact, property access, and potential disruptions.
- Promote Safety: Ensure that the community understands safety precautions related to the project area, including potential hazards.
- Maintain Project Awareness: Distribute flyers, brochures, and other informational materials to keep the community updated on project progress and milestones.
- Regular Reporting: Provide daily or weekly updates to the project manager regarding door-knocking outcomes, community responses, and any challenges faced.
Qualifications:
