What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandise Coordinator, Outlet Apparel & Footwear position at Michael Kors?
Who You Are:
Michael Kors is looking for a Merchandise Coordinator to assist the buying team in all facets of managing a growing domestic and international business. We are seeking someone with strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Generate weekly selling reports and business analysis to track selling, identify key trends, maximize opportunities and minimize liabilities to achieve continued growth and profitability of the Outlet Footwear & Apparel business.
- Responsible for maintaining assortment sheets, pricing/conversion files, processing markdowns, reconciling on order, and sample management.
- Partner with cross functional teams to communicate monthly floorset details, markdowns and promotions and RTVs.
- Work closely with planning and allocations to execute merchandising strategy on by-door basis. Work with allocations team and store management to ensure assortments by door are maximized.
- Foster and leverage cross-functional relationships to create opportunities for the business – specifically partnering with Digital, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Global Merchandising.
- Communicate and partner with vendors on order placement and product maintenance.
- Responsible for execution of product knowledge and buy information to the stores.
- Partner with team to run analysis and prepare selling hindsight in order to help identify opportunities in the assortment. Attend and actively participate in market. Responsible for entering all market orders.
You’ll Need to Have:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
- Computer Literate – Strong Excel Skills
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in NYC office 3 days a week

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
