Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Footwear Production Coordinator to support end-to-end production processes. This role will work cross-functionally with design, development, and sourcing teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality footwear production. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of experience, with a strong preference for candidates from the shoe/footwear industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the production calendar from development through bulk production
- Act as a liaison between factories, vendors, and internal teams
- Track and follow up on sample development, approvals, and production milestones
- Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality and cost targets
- Monitor production status and proactively address delays or issues
- Review and manage purchase orders, tech packs, and BOMs (Bill of Materials)
- Collaborate with sourcing teams on materials, costing, and vendor performance
- Support quality control processes and ensure compliance with standards
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and systems
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in production coordination, preferably within the footwear or fashion industry
- Strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes (preferred)
- Experience working with overseas factories and vendors
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PLM systems (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
- Footwear industry experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with global supply chains and logistics
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
