Senior Project / Programme Manager – Insurance Transformation
New York, USA | Up to $120,000 Base Bonus
We are currently partnered with a growing insurance technology provider expanding its presence in the US market.
The business has built a strong reputation delivering digital transformation, change, and technology solutions to the insurance sector, combining senior onshore consultants with a high-performing offshore delivery model.
As part of continued growth, they are looking to hire a Senior Project / Programme Manager in New York to support key insurance clients, lead delivery programmes, and help convert warm client opportunities into further project work.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both delivery leadership and commercial relationship building.
The Role
This is a hybrid role with an approximate split of:
• 60% Delivery Leadership – managing projects and programmes for insurance clients
• 40% Commercial / Relationship Growth – supporting warm leads, expanding accounts, and identifying new opportunities within existing clients
You will act as the bridge between clients and delivery teams, ensuring successful execution while helping grow long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end project and programme delivery across insurance transformation initiatives
• Manage senior stakeholders across carrier, broker, MGA, or specialty insurance clients
• Oversee offshore delivery teams and ensure high-quality execution
• Support existing client relationships and identify follow-on project opportunities
• Work closely with leadership to convert warm leads into active engagements
• Drive digital transformation initiatives across underwriting, operations, policy admin, claims, or broking environments
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard
Ideal Background
We are keen to speak with candidates who bring:
• Strong project or programme management experience within insurance
• Experience delivering transformation, systems implementation, or digitalisation programmes
• Understanding of commercial insurance, specialty insurance, Lloyd’s / London Market, or broader insurance operations
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
• Experience working with offshore or distributed delivery teams would be beneficial
• Commercial instinct and interest in supporting account growth / business development
• Ambition to grow with a scaling business
