Senior Director of Communications paying up to $180K for a global organization in the Coppell area. The talented Senior Director of Communications will join the global communications team and will be responsible for all communications. The ideal candidate will have specific experience in external communications in a B2B product-based PR and media relations, excel in developing content for various channels (websites, emails, press releases, social media, and thought leadership pieces. Exceptional writing and editing skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively and thrive under deadlines.
This is a DIRECT HIRE and a ON SITE position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with marketing and digital teams to develop and execute integrated content strategies that support brand awareness, thought leadership, SEO performance and audience engagement across multiple channels
- Build and scale communications infrastructure from the ground up, establishing processes, messaging frameworks, governance and communication channels that support a growing organization
- Lead the creation of compelling, high-impact content, including executive communications, thought leadership articles, media materials, website content, social media content and corporate messaging
- Develop and refine strategic messaging that resonates with key external stakeholders while ensuring alignment with the organization’s brand, business objectives and market positioning
- Oversee multiple communications initiatives simultaneously, leveraging project management and digital communication tools to drive collaboration, operational efficiency and on-time execution
- Drive programs that strengthen and protect the company’s brand reputation, increase visibility and enhance stakeholder engagement across traditional, digital and social platforms
- Monitor industry trends, media opportunities and emerging communication channels to identify opportunities that elevate the company’s voice and market presence
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- 7 years of experience including experience in a global communications or equivalent in a B2B environment
- Hands-on leader with the ability to balance strategic communications planning with tactical execution
- Exceptional writing skills with high attention to detail and a commitment to quality in all aspects of storytelling and editing
- Proven experience creating and leading communications functions within emerging, high-growth or evolving organizations, including developing strategy, processes and infrastructure from inception
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
- Familiarity with SEO principles, AI content generation tools, social media strategies and content amplification techniques
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail, producing high-quality content tailored to diverse audiences
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using mass internal communication email tools
- Strong ability to adapt quickly to change and be flexible to meet the needs of the business
- Self-starter attitude with a builder-oriented mindset
Salary : $175,000 - $180,000
