Responsibilities
- Respond to building maintenance and repair requests in a timely and safe manner
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, tools, and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and related mechanical equipment
- Perform general plumbing repairs including pumps, water heaters, drains, and piping
- Conduct basic electrical repairs including switches, outlets, lighting, and related components
- Support general building repairs and facility upkeep
- Complete building rounds and scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and request parts as needed
- Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and all safety protocols
- Document maintenance activities and communicate updates across shifts
- Assist with emergency maintenance needs as required
- Perform additional facility-related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational or technical training preferred
- 5 years of general facilities maintenance experience preferred
- Universal EPA certification required
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and assist with heavier loads
- Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
