Role Description

The Building Automation Systems Controls Technician will work throughout the Greater Miami Area (Miami-Dade, Broward, West Palm Beach), and occasionally travel to the Naples, FL area, in a full-time capacity. This role involves the programming, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of Building Automation Systems (BAS) for HVAC systems in commercial or residential environments. The technician will be responsible for performing system diagnostics, ensuring proper system functionality, calibrating equipment, and providing detailed documentation of all tasks performed. This role also includes collaborating with team members and communicating with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless project execution.


Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Business Analysis for identifying and solving technical and system-related issues
  • Experience in assessing and developing Business Processes to ensure efficient and effective system operations
  • Ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to articulate complex information clearly with excellent Communication skills and a focus on client interaction
  • Competence in interpreting and defining Business Requirements to deliver tailored solutions based on project and client needs
  • Technical knowledge in Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC systems, and related technologies
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Expertise with Java Application Control Engine (JACE) hardware and software platform, including system configuration, integration, and performance optimization
  • N4 certification is highly desirable
