What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support Technician position at MIAMI LAKES AM & CJ?
We are looking for an IT Support Technician. The candidate will be working hand in hand with the IT Director. Responsible for providing first-level support for all end-users. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, and voice/data communication systems. Escalate calls when appropriate. Follow up on IT requests promptly and follow through to resolution. Computer proficiency with hardware and software technologies is required. The ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure is required.
Must have reliable transportation. Primary working location in Miami Lakes, FL, but will be required to travel occasionally to Miami. Must pass criminal background, Drug test, and valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Respond to Customer service requests. You will be working with multiple clients on multiple and diverse issues simultaneously. Administer computer accounts and passwords. Analyze situations and data requirements. Provide remote tech support for hardware (printers, desktops, laptops, drivers, monitors, and Mobile devices) and software (internally developed apps, productivity, computer OS systems, internet apps, and various systems). Assist IT Director in day-to-day tasks. Coordinate communication with vendors to aid in incident reporting. Assist with testing of new or upgraded PC software and hardware releases as requested.
