Banquet Server - MGM Springfield

THE JOB:

As a Banquet Server, you'll play a key role in guiding guests through every phase of their event, using your welcoming smile and exceptional service. THE STARTING RATE: $8.75 per hour plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Guide guests through all phases of their experience at banquet events, providing exceptional service and assistance.

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.

• Set up, refresh, and break down coffee breaks, receptions, and buffet tables according to group requirements.

• Be knowledgeable about menu selections, ingredients, presentation standards, and service requirements for assigned functions.

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.

• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly, following the established sequence of service.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 1 Years of prior experience as a Banquet Server in fine dining and in a similar, high-volume restaurant is preferred

• Must be over 21 years of age

• Willing and able to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Scheduled based on business needs for events scheduled. 10-30hrs per week on 1st and 2nd shift.
