Position Summary:
Shipping specialist is responsible to ensure all shipments are shipped complete via FTL, LTL, or will call.
Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:
Works primarily in a warehouse environment where the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, walk, reach, grasp and bend while moving about their workstation and facility. May be required to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. The employee may periodically be exposed to non-ambient temperatures, odors or dust. All required PPE must be worn at all times while in the warehouse environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
Qualification Requirements:

- Ensure all pallets are shipping acceptable.
- Ensures orders complete and accurate.
- Match orders to “license plates.”
- Turn in all pack slips to Coordinator upon order completion.
- Load trucks
- Ensures work areas remain clean.
- Attends all meetings and training.
- Other tasks as requested.
- Ensures compliance to quality, 6S, and OSHA programs; assures conformity to all company and customer.

Qualification Requirements:
- 1-2 years previous shipping experience.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Detail oriented
- Forklift Certification required.
- Computer aptitude with basic math and reading skills.
- Dependable/Flexible
- Good communication skills
