As a Sales Trainee, you’ll bring the power of fiber to our clients—educating, reassuring, and tailoring AT&T fiber and wireless plans to real people with real Wi-Fi woes. The Sales Trainee uses active listening to understand household dynamics—how many devices, who’s streaming, who’s schooling—and recommend plans that grow with their needs.
Core Functions of the Sales Trainee
- Promote AT&T fiber and wireless and internet services through sales campaigns that highlight speed, reliability, and bundled plan benefits.
- Assess household connectivity needs and recommend tailored internet packages that enhance streaming, gaming, remote work, and everyday digital life.
- Oversee service activations, upgrades, and account adjustments, ensuring eligibility verification, accurate documentation, and seamless setup of fiber and wireless accounts.
- Simplify product details for customers, clearly explaining features, pricing, and plan benefits to support confident decision‑making.
- Maintain organized CRM records of customer interactions, service milestones, and feedback to strengthen retention and track performance.
- Advance promotional initiatives by coordinating community events, seasonal campaigns, and merchandising displays that build visibility and trust in AT&T Fiber.
Education & Experience Needed for the Sales Trainee
- High school diploma or GED required; coursework in business, communications, or marketing is a plus.
- Experience in client-facing sales, customer support, or sales, especially in telecom, tech, is highly valued.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain AT&T Fiber solutions clearly, build trust, and adapt messaging to diverse households.
