About Meyhouse
Meyhouse is a modern Turkish fine-dining restaurant group known for elevated cuisine, warm hospitality, and vibrant energy. We are opening our newest location in San Ramon and are building a passionate front-of-house team committed to excellence, consistency, and exceptional guest experience.
Position Summary
As an Assistant Server at Meyhouse, you are a key support role in delivering a seamless dining experience. You assist servers and the front-of-house team by maintaining table readiness, supporting service flow, and ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant. You understand that great hospitality is built on teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Support servers in providing attentive and efficient service to guests
- Assist with table maintenance, including clearing, resetting, and pre-bussing
- Deliver food and beverages to tables as needed
- Refill water, bread, and table essentials promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections
- Communicate effectively with servers, food runners, and kitchen staff
- Assist with opening, side work, and closing duties as assigned
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service procedures
Basic Qualifications
- Prior restaurant experience is a plus but not required
- Strong work ethic with attention to cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support others
- Passion for hospitality and guest service
Availability Requirements
- Open availability is required
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Team members are expected to work scheduled shifts as business needs require
Required Certifications
- Valid California Food Handler Certificate (or ability to obtain)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive manual tasks
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
