Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Safely handle, position, and align metal sheets (steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.) on the press-brake bed,
including loading and unloading materials (set-up and quality validation by lead, supervisor or Sr. Technician)
♦ Review with lead, supervisor or Sr. Technician the technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders and understand
material requirements, bending sequences, dimensions, and any required protection of critical parts
♦ Perform basic in-process and inal inspections of inished parts using precision measuring instruments such as tape
measure, calipers, micrometers, protractors, and gauges to ensure inished parts meet strict quality standards and
tight tolerances and report any contamination or potential damage to any areas or components.
♦ Perform routine cleaning of equipment and tools, promptly report if they are not operating properly.
♦ Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and health regulations, including the use of Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE), and follow the 5S program to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
♦ Maintain accurate production records, including part counts, scrap rates, and completed job forms.
♦ Work with Sr. Fabrication Technicians, Leads, or Supervisors to complete orders in a timely manner.
♦ Perform other duties and special projects assigned in support of operations and other departments as required to
meet company’s overall objectives.
Experience, Education Skills
♦ High school diploma or GED equivalent, and/or, 1-3 years of experience in metal fabrication
♦ Some proiciency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
♦ Basic Knowledge of different metal types and their properties.
♦ Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and bend allowances.
♦ Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, squares, etc.), small power and air tools.
♦ Basic computer skills for operating CNC software following indications by lead or Sr Tech.
♦ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
♦ Able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, and lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
♦ A highly self-motivated, dependable, and flexible team player with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and close
attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed primarily in the manufacturing facility, although outdoor tasks are sometimes required. Lighting is
artiicial and adequate. Equipment used may include the use of telephones, power tools, hand tools, plumbing tools,
and power-driven lift trucks. Individuals will have constant exposure to dust, noise, heat, cold, fumes and chemicals.
Physical demands include standing, walking, bending over, crawling, climbing, reaching overhead, kneeling, crouching,
balancing, pushing and pulling, repetitive use of both hands, grasping, ine dexterity, being around other work
equipment and machinery, driving cars, trucks, forklifts, walking on uneven ground, as well as lifting up to 50 lbs. Both
workdays, as well as hours of work, may vary, according to the requirements of the operation
Hourly Pay Rate $21.50- 24.00 DOE
