Hilton Ocala is one of four Meyer Jabara properties in Florida; our beautiful 196- room property has 6 spacious event rooms to host a plethora of memorable occasions, as well as our tented outdoor event space. 
 
We are currently seeking an on-call enthusiastic candidate to join our banquet setup team.

 
What You’ll Do: 

• • • Arrange tables, chairs, linens and place settings according to event layout.
    • Assemble and disassemble portable stages and dance floors. 
    • Review BEO and Diagram to ensure layout meets clients’ specifications. 
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the banquet area. 
    • Maintain inventory of banquet & meeting equipment, report any damage or repairs required as needed. 
    • Promptly respond to guest inquiries and/or needs professionally.
    • Assist in accommodating last-minute changes or requests efficiently.
    • Other tasks as assigned by manager  

What You Need to Succeed: 

• • Ability to read and execute diagrams. 
  • Strong attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions. 
  • Must have the ability to expedite orders in a professional, organized and timely manner. 
  • Maintain clean and neat appearance and be a team player. 
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 60 pounds. 
  • Stand for extended period of time. 
  • Basic English preferred, but not necessary.
