Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and flexible On-Call Cook to support our rotating crew operations. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality meal preparation for crews working on dynamic project schedules. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-sufficient, and comfortable working nights, weekends, and varying shifts as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook up to three meals per day for a crew of up to 20 personnel
- Plan and assist with daily meal menus and food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness of all cooking areas, equipment, and utensils after each meal
- Assist with grocery shopping and procurement of food supplies and provisions when required
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards are consistently followed
- Adapt to changing schedules based on project needs and operational demands
- Support kitchen operations with general housekeeping and organization
Schedule & Work Environment
- On-call position with variable scheduling
- Must be available for night shifts, rotating shifts, and weekends
