Job Summary
The Lead Valet supports the MHS Manager by helping organize daily valet services while working alongside team members to create a positive, smooth experience for patients and guests. In addition to standard valet duties, the Lead handles tasks like cash management, scheduling, and problem-solving, especially when the manager is off-site. This role requires leadership, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities

Guest Services & Valet Operations
- Safely park and retrieve guests’ vehicles with care and attention
- Note and report any existing damage to vehicles before service begins
- Record the parking location and link it to the guest’s valet ticket
- Drive cautiously and follow all safety guidelines
- Greet and assist patients and visitors with directions and questions
- Clearly explain parking rates and retrieval procedures

Team Leadership & Support
- Lead and motivate team members through positive example
- Assign teammates to routine tasks and assist with scheduling
- Help monitor attendance and communicate shift changes
- Support conflict resolution and maintain team morale
- Uphold professional appearance, communication, and conduct standards
- Step in for the Manager when needed and escalate serious concerns appropriately

Administrative Duties
- Follow MHS procedures for cash handling and transaction tracking
- Maintain accurate records and assist in cash reconciliation
- Use timekeeping systems and help manage shift coverage

Safety & Environment
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Remain calm and in control during busy or high-pressure situations
- Protect patient and guest privacy by following HIPAA guidelines
- Perform other duties as needed to support the team and facility.

Qualification and Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED, 3 years of related experience, and a minimum age of 21 years old.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Able to drive both automatic and manual (stick shift) vehicles.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass background and drug screenings.
- Able to fluently speak, read, and write in English.
- Must meet all required immunizations or health screenings.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions (heat, wind, rain, snow, etc.).
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, speak, hear, and use hands.
- Able to lift up tto 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally.
- Able to push and pull 75 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Able to push/pull patients in wheelchairs weighing up to 350 lbs over long distances.
- The ability to work flexible schedules and extended hours is sometimes required such as weekends, holidays, and longer shifts.
Salary : $18 - $20
