Job Summary
The Shuttle Driver (Non-CDL) is responsible for safely transporting guests to and from the hospital and nearby areas. This position requires friendly and professional customer service, safe driving practices, and accurate vehicle records. Drivers must inspect the vehicle regularly and report any issues.
Key Responsibilities

Provide safe and on-time shuttle service for guests and patients.

Greet each customer kindly when they board the shuttle.

Stop only at assigned pickup and drop-off points.

Perform safety checks on the shuttle before and after each trip.

Report any damage or problems with the vehicle to a supervisor.

Keep the shuttle clean and well-maintained; report when service is needed.

Do not eat, drink, text, or talk on the phone while driving.

Always follow all traffic laws and safety rules.

Keep the work area clean and organized.

Maintain patient and guest privacy according to HIPAA rules.

Report any accidents to your supervisor right away.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Requirements

High School Diploma/GED and 3 years commercial or professional driving experience.

Required to have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions and present most recent driving record.

Knowledge of how to operate various types of passenger van motor vehicles.

Must be able to work legally in the United States.

Must pass background and drug screenings.

Able to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Required to meet immunization or health screening requirements.

Ability to demonstrate professionalism, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements

Willingness to work in the elements (heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.).

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Must be able to push and pull (on wheelchair) 100 to 350 pounds frequently over considerable distance.

Working flexible schedules and extended hours such as weekends, holidays, and longer shifts are sometimes required.
