- Serves as first responder to incoming phone lines, directing calls as needed.
- Greets and actively assists patients from culturally diverse backgrounds.
- Processes patients in and out of the clinic by registering them into our system and later, checking them out.
- Provides appropriate information and a positive environment for all patients.
- Performs all clerical duties needed to maintain efficiency of daily operations of the STD/HIV Prevention and Intervention clinic at Lentz.
- Enters laboratory reports into electronic database management system.
- Maintains patient charts in a timely manner to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Collects, processes, and records financial information and transactions for fees collected.
- Codes data according to prescribed accounting procedures.
- Orders, tracks, and distributes supplies as directed.
- Takes minutes at meetings as needed.
- Composes letters, memorandums, notices, and related documents.

- Knowledge of environmental change strategies that address chronic disease prevention.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office.
- Knowledge of community assessment processes.
- Experience in program development, implementation and management.
