Metropolitan Companies is looking for an HR Administrator to join our growing team! The HR Administrator will provide support to our Human Resources Department, including the HR Director, Recruiting Team, and Payroll/Benefits Coordinator. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead New Hire orientations for all affiliated companies.
- Assist Recruiting Team in regard to offer and new hire process as needed.
- Utilize Canva to create company announcements, flyers, and event invitations, as well as distribute communications.
- Support HR Director with policy additions or changes and distribute updated information to staff.
- Assist with planning monthly and annual company events.
- Research and present information to Events Committee in regard to vendors, DJ’s, venues, etc.... including pricing, package information, and availability.
- Track all company event RSVP’s.
- Support Payroll/Benefits Coordinator with United Way Campaigns, including tracking donations, sending invites, and booking conference rooms for meetings.
- Coordinate Quarterly New Hire Luncheons and Monthly Office Birthday Celebrations including sending invites, ordering/picking up food, setting up and breaking down.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with a team and independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Proficiency in Canva
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- 2 years experience in a Human Resources or administrative role.
